Default Cap for tube power supply

Hi all,

I'm building a power supply for a tube amplifier.
the power supply is :transformer, bridge, 100uF, 5H, 200uF.
My B+ is 425Vdc. I found the following capacitor: DS371506-CA which is rated for 370Vac. I think it's ok since 370Vac x 1.4 ~ 500Vdc, but I like to get confirmation from the forum people.

You might get more luck asking this question in the tube/valve forums.

Your logic is fine but I see this cap is classed as a "motor run" capacitor which I believe means it will be non polarised. How these would be on steady DC over a long period of time I wouldn't like to say.

I suspect it's not the ideal choice tbh but try and ask elsewhere for confirmation or otherwise.
