Yes, but you will need a gate driver between the 3842 and the power switches.

The UC3842 has lots of drive. But your topology looks like a flyback to me. It would have simple on and off operation for the transformer. This means only half of the flux swing of other topologies.
Typically flyback’s are used for cheap and dirty supplies of 100 watts and less. |
