Loading Papa's regulator with 2 F5 channels?

If the more knowledgeable could, please, confirm my PS choice here:

I decided to use the simple regulated supply put together by Nelson in zen v5 article. the schematic was published as intended for "single channel", but I would like to use it to power two channels of F5 amp, i.e. each rail would branch out to two, one on each channel.

Are there any major drawbacks with the idea?

Papa's article (page7 PS): http://www.passdiy.com/pdf/zen-v5-hires.pdf

My caps are rated for 9.5A ripple, zenners will be a series building up to the value needed, and fets will be on a 3/8" thick Alu plate for any heat generated. I am starting with 24Vac and will hope to end at 24Vdc rails.

Also, I am to use only one 450VA 2x24Vac transformer to drive two of these regulators, one for each F5 amp (in a bi-amped system). Sanity check?

THANKS! Your opinion is MUCH appreciated.:)
