Default topology best choice

hi

What topology to choose for the isolation coverter design 24V to 5V 10A ?

You could probably go with flyback, and optoisolation for feedback...
LM2577 will not handle the power without separate driver stage between the chip and transformer. But with the driver could still be one choise for a simple solution...

The best choice for 24V to 5v 8A design is flyback or push pull?

If it's a low quantity, best choice is probably an isolated brick - there's no shortage of them at the 50W power level. Far less design time, you're buying one part instead of lots, you don't have to layout (and possibly re-layout) a PCB, etc.
