Or the obvious meaning left out by your dictionary, being the result of a mathematical process of integration?

Enough ppl have understandable difficulty with technical English here without unnecessarily complicating matters.

From each Filter section current flows into the circuit. Say: I have 15mA current going into the 5 filter sections (the L R and C) How to calculate the right Load resistance at the end? The Psu gives mostly a 5K. Where did he get this from . Made up out off …?.

You can test a PSU with either a resistance (so current changes with voltage) or a constant current load (so current stays the same). In many cases results will be similar, but sometimes you will see different LF ringing.
