Default Building a Small Power Supply

I am trying to put together a small power supply module for a small 25W by 2 Class D amplifier module (still deciding on which amp to get).

Is there any way I can get rid of the isolation transformer that connects to mains? Or drastically reduce the size?

Maybe you should rephrase your inquiry.
It's somewhat unusual to define the power supply when it isn't yet known what it will need to power. Doable, yes. But unusual. It's fitting the amp to the supply when usually one fits the supply to the amp. It also isn't known as an "isolation transformer" - in technical terms that is a different (though similar) device. You're referring to a step-down transformer. To "drastically reduce the size," the answer is no. There is a limit to how small the transformer can be and still provide x amount of power at 50 or 60 Hz. This is a major reason why switchmode supplies are so popular.
It is error only, and not truth, that shrinks from enquiry. - Thomas Paine
