What about these regulators?

Hi guys,

what do you think about voltage regulators like these?

1.5 to 27V DC Adjustable Voltage Regulator Module Board, Based on LM317 | eBay

Anyone tried them?

the first link shows that the vendor has blotted out the chip identifying code.
Do not trust ebay sellers that hide information.

Both are from the Far East.
There is a risk that some or all of the components are illegal and substandard fakes.
Are you willing to post back a faulty assembly when the return cost is more than the purchase cost?

albamaiuscola 23rd March 2012 11:18 AM

You are so right Andrew, but I need a voltage reg "ready to plug".
Where can I find one?

AndrewT 23rd March 2012 11:32 AM

Some of our Members sell voltage regulator assemblies.

Low noise regulator

Hi Alba,

Since it´s relatively cheap why not try it out? There is no secret, the circuit is based upon the Linear LT1764.
