Hi everyone,
So im working on an amp project with a B+ of 450V I need supply the screen grids of the 6146W power tubes with 230V. I was recommended to use a source follower regulator with a mosfet and zener to regulate the 450V. I was also told to add an electrolytic cap across the zener to get rid on any ripple/noise. Im wondering how to implement this circuit as well as an explanation on calculating the needed resistors and zener. I cant seem to find too much on this one on the internet. Im am a studying EE but haven't really gotten into any transistor circuits. Thats for next semester. Thank you! |

Hi,
look at this circuit: Mosfet stabilized power supply for Tube Amp| Circuit Project All you have to do is re-calculate the values to your voltage. regards |
