Currently I have two talema 2x25V 300VA which ordinary purpose is for my gainclone project 2x200W monoblock..but some thoughts that inspire me to design this psu not only for gainclone but also to be applicable for class A (maybe F5 or Aleph 5 if possible)
below some conditions of what I have : - toroid : as mentioned - caps : 4.700uF 50V nichicon gold tune, already have 20 of them and will add more stock until 48 pcs. so each channel will occupy 24 pcs - diode : MUR860 - after searching several gainclone psu design, I finally choose from DIY LM3886 Chip Amplifier (Gainclone) Project with additional caps 0.1uF wima mks4 soldered directly to each caps (someone suggested this approach, advise me if this is good or not). attached image on what i made on my psu ptp - several passlab psu designs that i found use CRCR methodology, resistor on each caps and use MUR1560..last attached image on example that i found my questions :which design that I can use to compromise my needs of 1 psu being capable for driving gainclone and class A? My goal is that I can mount gainclone and class A (max 40W per channel with assumption of my 300VA toroid capability to drive class A) in 1 casing with 1 power supply, switch on which amplifier to be used thanks Last edited by gadut; 12th March 2012 at 05:35 PM. |
