Default quick CRC CLC question

I'm curious if someone could tell me what would happen if you parelled a resistor and an inductor in a CRC/CLC power supply?

You would get behaviour intermediate between a CRC and CLC supply. This would probably be undesirable, as you are paying for the cost and weight of a choke but getting reduced performance. The only benefit might be a reduction in subsonic ringing.
