Antek Transformers......... Any Issues..?

Hello Gents,

About to purchase a couple trans and have received quotes from Plitron, Toriod corp of Maryland and Antek.

The prices between Plitron and TCM are similar, where as Antek is considerably cheaper, fully aware you gets what you pay for, just wanting to know if any here had issues dealing with Antek or their transformers ....

I switched from Plitron to Antek for all of my Pass amp builds when the Plitron minimum order went up to $250. My experience with both the supplier and parts performance has been very good. I've used them in several preamps and power amps with no issues.

Never tried Plitron, but very happy with Antek here as well.

I used Anteks for the PT and bias supply in my Tubelab version over-the-top Millett DCPP build. No problems.

I will give the Antek's a run, it does appear they are not at the same spec level of the others( medical grade) on top of the usual UL, CSA etc, type ratings..........
