Default pw6000-12000 fried (repair)

i came across this blown inverter cheep so i bought it for salvage parts 1 of the dc power boards is shot but the other seems ok (as far as looking at it) so i thought i would make use of the second power board i hooked it to a battery and the output leads have no power i chkd the voltage going to the trannys and the fets and chkd the fuses all seem ok but i think the fets at least some of them could be bad... (oh and let me state the inverter closely resembles the schematics i found here for the GP-12-2500a)

anyway after removing the supply voltage (battery) i found that some of the caps were still charged but only at 13 v at sw1 or sw2 on the boost circuit but the 2 large caps not charged at all so my question is could it be the mosfets or diodes the fets are irf1404 ...

ok now to go on...
when i hook up the power board to the control board the led barely lights up and the voltage lcd lights up when set to volts it reads correctly 13.8v
when set to watts nothing although there isnt any ac current at the recepticals so no wattage would be read and sometimes the little buzzer goes off ....

any help would be great thank you
