Hi My son recieved a Fender hotrod deville 212 a couple of years back when we visited family in Seattle and brought it back home to Scotland have been using a 230v to 110v transformer since works ok but a bit big and awkward. I would like to change the internal transformer to suit 230v. Are there 230 tapping on the internal transformer
and if so where can I get a schematic for this or if this is not possible where would I get a replacement internal transformer to suit 230v Paul |

Most USA models will have the 41752 power transformer. The primary wires will be black and white and it is 120VAC only. On the Fender Guitar: Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitars, Amplifiers, and Pro Audio web site under support you will find amp schematics, including this one.
There are later drawings - the HR DeVille and HR Deluxe share boards - which I am sure Fender would send to you if you contacted them and asked. The export version power transformer is part number 41753 - well 0041753000 really. It is possible your amp has one of those due to production needs. It would have boocoo primary wires, like seven of them. The more recent schematic shows all the alternate connections. I can provide them if Fender cannot. |
