I need 2 a and 1,5 v and i have 2,9 v input.
how I can make this lt1085 ? VOUT=1.25(1+R2/R1)is this right v out ? |

yes, that is right... oh and output will be for R2 x Iadj higher, but that is not much
also, you will be able, probably, to get 1.5v out, BUT Up to 1.5v is dropout voltage, typ is 1.3v you are cutting it too close, I would use some low dropout regulators |

LT1764A will be better suited if you need lower dropout. will do 3A, is lower noise than 1085 as well. excellent regulator and i use it along with its lower current/lower noise brethren LT1963A as a default these days
