Hello guys, are you fine?
This my new SMPS, now only in PROTEUS designing (top side). In future posts I'll show you down side and, maybe, the SMPS finished pics. Regards. Sandro |

Which kind of full bridge are you using: classical, quasi resonant, phase shift?

I canīt understand the "FB" acronym in your post, if you mean it Flay Back, then canīt be Half Bridge, this is a two transistor Fly Back and/or active clamp. To my acknowledgement there isnīt Fly Back Half Bridge topology....

You ask what kind FULL BRIDGE? My answer for you it's a CLASSICAL FULL BRIDGE . I don 't build Fly Back SMPS. REgards. |

Lets see...
- SG3525 controller, which has alternating outputs - two IR2110s next to four IRFP460s - Four output rectifiers, presumably acting as a full wave rectifier for positive/negative outputs. I'd call that a conventional full bridge supply. However... I see toroid transformer as the only magnetic on the supply. And I assume this isn't a "99% duty cycle" supply that depends on leakage inductance, because of the optocoupler that's present... this is all conjecture from a parts placement, but yeah, mind posting a schematic? |

I 'll post schematics but this SMPS is based in others SMPS schematics finded here and in the web, ok? The Sg3525 output (pin 11) is connected to first IR2110 (pin 10) and second IR2110 (pin 12) and another output of SG3525(pin 14) is connected to first IR2110 (pin 12) and second IR2110 (pin 12). So, when #1 and #4 IRFP460 are ON state, the #2 and #3 IRFP460 are OFF state. Yes, 99% duty cycle. Diode Schotkies are 2 + 2 because there is CENTER TAP in the core. The optocoupler read output voltage for regulated output. Thank by your comments. Excuse me my bad/ugly english. Sandro |

99% duty cycle means unregulated... and you're regulating the output?
