Default Transient response data not provided

Hello,

I am looking into buying an SMPS to supply a 330W Class D amplifier. (Vin = 90-265VAC, Vout = +-40V, 4A)

As you know, the no-load to full-load transient response of such power supplies is absolutely, utterly critical.

However, not one of the off-the-shelf smps's for audio usage gives any data about the transient response.

We need to know the voltage undershoot and settling time for no-load to full-load transients, as well as vice versa.

Do you know of a SMPS company who provides such data for their smps's.

Microsim, you might have missed this post SMPS for audio.
why no manufacturer supplier provide this data ? maybe because almost nobody ask.
or just because the transient response has something to do with the smps feedback loop compensation, and a smps which exhibits poor transient response might be the one which was poorly compensated ? the phase margin and gain are two parameters which have to be set correctly otherwise the smps will not be stable. the phase margin must be set correct otherwise the output voltage will oscilate with a large load transient. the gain must be matched as well otherwise the overshoot will be quite large during transients. unfortunately for LLC converters there is no simple math calculation as for other topologies, because there isn't available a precise small-signal model as for other topologies. most of the time is easier to determine the approximate values by trial method than analytic, then fine adjust them after measuring the phase and gain.

but i'm sure you already know all this aspects very well, and probably you want to see if there others too which know, right ?
or let me ask you an off-topic question, what bring such frustration to you when it comes to LLC converters ??? i've seen half dozen new topics where you blame them for all the bad things in this world. :-)).
