Plitron toroidal transformer installation

Hi guys,

I got transformer but it didn't come with the 'plate' and screw for mechanical installation. How can I install it?

Use : Epoxy Universal Products - Bison filled torus and drilled a hole in the center for screw.

What about the plate that sits at the top of it (seen it on pictures of almost all projects on the forum), is it just nice to have it or there are some benefits as well (if so, which please)?

The more screws you use, the smaller they can be, and this can be of advantage with big transformers.
