Default Gain of Modulator/Power stage in Half Bridge?

Hello,

(Sorry i put "half bridge" in the title instead of "flyback")

Equation B.10 of page 203 of Marty Brown's Power Supply Cookbook gives the DC gain of a current mode flyback SMPS as :-

((Vin-Vout)^2)/(Vin.Ve) * (Nsec/Npri)

It says that "Ve" is the maximum peak voltage of the current sense ramp..

..but does this mean the Maximum possible ramp of the current sense voltage?..
..or does it mean the particular amplitude of the ramp when at maximum load?
