I got an Onkyo A-807 that was headed to the recycler. I was thinking I might be able to use the transformer for a chipamp. I measured the DC output (after the Rectifer and Caps), and it 110 DC!
It has several windings off the secondary, but they're all pretty darn high (~ 75 vac) Is this something someone might want? I come across this sort of thing with some regularity. I have no use for it, but I hate to send it to the scrap pile if some one could use it. |

I'd love to have it and build a hugh power amp around it but problem is shipping from USA to India!! I have been salivating after a dual chip output 150WRMS amp pcb for over two months now and unable to get the website to ship the pcb to India!A heavy Tx ...! I think not!
