Heres a pic of a single tube 6992 tube pre-amp power supply that im working on. The top supply is for B+ and the bottom is for the heater.
Now in multisim i can only measure 50v no load on the B+ supply. If i remove the grounds and wire the top circuit together with wire instead of the grounds i get 100v. So is the bottom circuit somehow drawing current from the top circuit? Or is this just a multisim error? 100v no load is what im looking for on the top circuit. |

I ended up fixing my problem. Anyways here's the new circuit. R5 simulates the tube heater and R4 simulates the plate resistance.
Should i regulate the plate voltage? Similarly to how i regulated the heater voltage? |
