Default A switch for 2 power source for a single amp

I have a requirement as backup psu for an amp

so I need to switch PSU A to PSU B , instantly with a switch or by relay

just want to know will the amp suffer and loss of power, when the instant is being switch from A to B?

or should I have a cap reservoir after the switch to buy some time for to switching
