Hi Folks,
I want to build a simple 7895 Nuvistor head amp. I realize how much the PS will affect the amplifier and need a starting point to proceed. Seems to me regulation, ripple, and noise are huge factors in design of a PS for a low-level amp. Tube or SS? Any favorite circuits? How much noise does the rectifier contribute to the supply? Having spent my life in RF, I am now turning to audio and realize my defficiencies. You folks may have to start from the bottom-up. Sorry. Thanks, -J |
