Default etd34 nt enough for 400w pfc

i am working on a 400w smps which has a pfc in front.
during testing i saw that the etd34 that i had used for pfc becomes very hot in 90v operation. so wat option do i have can i use 2 etd34 in parallel or in series..


help me out

come on every body can i use 2 etd34 cores in parallel for my pfc.

I would do in series (not that have I even seen that)... or use higher freq.

What frequency are you using?
Is the heat coming from the core or the winding?
If it's from the core, up the frequency.
If it's mainly from the winding then use copper foil rather than wire.
2 pairs of cores with the primary windings in parallel would halve the losses.

you may need multiple windings for skin effect mitigation

no it is working in ccm mode ....and i have already used multiple winding for my pfc inductor....
