I have been trying to gather some information on whether to use or not to use fast diodes for output stages in power amplifiers.
But I couldn't yet get a definitive answer to: 1) Will a fast diode/bridge make any difference on rectifying those stages? 2) Which type to use? Can someone enlighten me a bit on this question? Thanks, Carlos |

Diodes in the amplifier output stage? the only ones I can think off are used for bias and these are always in conduction meaning that reverse recovery characteristics are irrelevant for this use.
