P.S. I hope that your dummy load is not 75R again like in the -5V. That would mean -200mA demand @ -15V.

I traced the Vref chain back from both SENSE (-S and 0) terminals to all components and everything checks out. I made the -15 from the same schematic as the -5, and the same layout. The board should be OK. |

No worries, I do worse all the time. Post a picture of your self made boards shunts at work if able.

I haven't listened yet, but confident that they'll "walk the talk". I'm using your HV shunt (PCB from group buy) in the tube stage and it's great compared to the linear I was using before. Gary |

What value are those VISHAY? Polyprop?
What kind of tube stage, line, phono? You mean the SSHV2 reg I guess. |

It's powering a TDA1541A , and your SSHV2 is powering a single 6SN7 tube stage.
I'm just completing a 4-layer PCB for the DAC and tube stage. Right now they're on separate PCB's while I test and tweak. Now that all components have been finalized, I'll combine boards. Those are nice caps. 10uF at 500V. Here's a link: MKP1848S61050JP2C Vishay BC Components | BC2788-ND | DigiKey |

yeah, they do like nice, eh?
They were cheaper than boutique caps (under $6 each), they're MKP and they're Vishay. Seems that most film caps in that range are 300V and higher. I thought that in spite of these being a bit bigger and higher in voltage, the "cool" factor won out. You like them?
