I am doing my first SSLV. Need 5v, 150mA load. I have 1k trimmer. Do I need 1 or 2 Leds? R303 jumper or 220R?

Have you read the guide?
Is for digital or analog? |

5V Vout Mosfet reg. 2 1.9V LED, 220 Ohm R303. Other parts jumper.
There is in 1st post a calculator to calculate the current, always is better x 2 or x 3, in your case 300 or 450mA |

I am using bjt. No 220r correct? 2 led rest jumpered. I am getting 2v across 20Ohm dummy no change using trimmer.

You need the 220R or a simple diode in series with the LEDs. You need to jumper the non used positions to close the series Vref circuit. Use a 33R dummy to simulate 150mA load. Set CCS for 200mA minimum. Your now dummy asks for 250mA you are possibly chocking your CCS setting. Find your CCS current by measuring voltage drop across your setting resistor and dividing by its value.

Ah, thank you. I was indeed choking the current.Ok so I have BJT, 1k trimmer, 220R and 2Leds. I am getting 300mA w/ 4R 12w and 5.21v out. with trimmer turned all the way. How do I reduce to 5v proper?
