When Monday is a holiday, how do they call it in England? A bank holiday. Imagine having a Swiss bank holiday. Luxury only to put the phrase together.

Hmmm

[sarcasm on]
Tomorrow, we in Switzerland are looking how things are developping in the world.
[sarcasm off]

I for myself I will spend the day drilling, soldering and testing...

Which Tom Waits album?
As far as tommorow and local things that must remain un-named on this forum.
Well sorry. It's shameful. But they are considering finally some important matters.

Hi Erik

I purchased this caps in a small shop in Zurich, where the stock is empty now.

About the quality: this are good caps.

And they look good on a black pcb.

I did not compare it to others but I also use some in my simplistic Salas RIAA and I like the result.

I dont understand, why they brand this caps as MKP.

This caps are made of metallized polycarbonate, I would call it MKC.

Datasheet:

... as we have the first sunny summer day since three weeks, the testing of my new psu is postponed.

Click the image to open in full size.

At least some little progress: mounted on the final heathsink with M3 screws and freshly cutted threads.

Threading on a sunny day was enough to call it a day. Looks good.

Maybe they had tons of printed boxes from their MKP ranges to use?
There is a thread running about MKC and its qualities in audio as we speak...
