Default parallel tube rectifier filaments

As a noob, I gather that independent tube heater power supplies are beneficial, but does that include parallel tube rectifiers filament supplies?
Would a single filament transformer for both tubes be just as good?

Most tube rectifiers connect the filament to the cathode, hence, the two rectifiers would need to be tied together at their cathodes for you to be able to use one transformer to power both tubes. If that is the case, then I see no benefit of using two separate transformers or windings to power the tubes. As long as a single winding/transformer can supply the needed current.

Tom,
Thank you very much for the clairification.
I've just now used the 10vac tap & wired the two tubes in series with the center tap back to the B+. Now I need to reduce the actual 11vac (no load) down to 10vac. The Triad transformer is 4A so it shouldn't read high, should it?
