Can anybody help with this design. I have a P-channel Mosfet connected with N-channel in a complimentary configuration. It is across a split supply, where P-channel source is connected +30V and the N-channel source is connected to -30V. The drains are connected together and are linked to one end of an inductor.
I want to connect a load from the inductor/capacitor output to ground. I need an output of 15V and upto 15A out. At the moment I am getting my output voltage of 15V, but when i load the output, my +30V starts to increase and my output starts to drop. Hope you can help....Thank You. |

Looks like your lower transistor is acting as a boost converter, with the the body diode of the upper transistor functionning as a rectifier.
What's the purpose of your circuit? |

The circuit is going to be used to give 15V output which will be switched every ten minutes to give +15V then -15V and so on...with variable currents upto 15A.
Thanks |

I think the control strategy of your transistors is wrong.
The common point to the inductor should never be left high-impedance. You must operate your half-bridge like a class D amplifier. |
