Default Accu battery for LM3886

Can I use two serially connected battery 12v for powering LM3886 as shown on the picture? the blue wire is - and red +.Click the image to open in full size.

Yes, it will work just fine, but the 'ground' of the circuit will be the connection between the two batteries (so at +12V relative to the - terminal of the lower battery).
