Default No Power Technics 1200 Mk2

Hi, I've just recently tried to change the LED's in my targets lights from a video seen in you tube and as I got to the last stage soldering the two wires, I though I would test it first to make sure it was all working and once I tested it the two joints touched and the all the sudden all the lights went off and had no power, I am really annoyed as I have only had these turntables for a couple of months and one of them is not working, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Luke
