Hi,
I'm just looking at Allen Wright's SuperReg, and there is a 30v reference voltage in the regulator section of the design, and it says '+30 Reg!' Do I need to build a separate regulator for this, or is it OK to use the output of the SuperReg with a voltage divider to get this 30V? Thanks Charlie |

He does suggest using another SuperReg or 317 for the reference voltage, but I was wondering if my idea is acceptable.

In case anyone searches for this answer.....
Allen got back to me and said that the SuperReg may never start if you do the suggested. It needs a separate supply. |
