it never stuck me...
i know of 0.7V drop.
I am trying to build a and circuit using diode, and the output would be lower of the two inputs always.
so was working on drops across the diodes.
thankyou for prompt reply

Hi,
what is the impedance of the circuit when you measure?
when 5V is at one end of the resistor and 2.7V is at the other end of the resistor you can calculate the current through the resistor and the diode.
[5-2.7] / 10k = 0.00023 = 230uA.
hi,
Ah!...very thank, now I know this..
...question from savu is not this.
