I've got a neat little wireless USB/SPDIF converter:
Pop Pulse - Product - Pop Pulse - PC-Link 24/96Khz Wireless USB Digital Transport The power supply it ships with is a little noisy, so I have purchased a 12V sealed lead acid battery and wired it to the converter. Are there any inherent concerns before powering on? I have read before (cannot recall where) that a soft start should be installed between SLA batteries and amplifiers - what is the reason (if any) for this? |
