230VAC to 5VDC 2A SMPS power supply design needed.
Hi guys, I need to make a power supply that can do 5v 2-3A powered from 230VAC. This needs to be a small psu so it would probably have to be a smps design.
It's to power a GPRS module and ethernet controller. Does anyone know of a reference design or design I could use? Thanks for any help in the matter. Wynand. |
Standard fare in most flyback controller chip appnotes. There should be one in UC3842 appnotes.

There should be plenty of application notes and reference designs for that at places like linear.com, and maybe national.com, among many others.

Off-the-shelf modules are commonly available for that specification.
