Default 7ch TDA7294 PSU

Hello i am building a 7ch tda7294 chip amp and having a little trouble with the psu so your input would be helpful i was planing on using a toroidal transformer but either i cant find what i need or im not looking for the right thing that latter most likely so here is the question(s)

1 the data sheet recommended 35v to 38v rails with an 8ohm load so that would be about 25v secondary windings right

2. i was planing on using one power supply with parallel bridges each rated at 50 amps thermally connected to balance the load on a budget...... sound reasonable?

3. according to the data sheet the maximum output current is 10a per channel so 70a plus current loss etc i was looking for 70 - 100 amp secondaries

so did i screw this up or what

well, a TDA7294 is a 100 watt amplifier, take about 150 to 200 per channel.
so 1000 to 14000 watt total.
a 1000VA transformer is not to hard to get, so try that.

Power consumption with music will be much lower due to the high peak to average ratio of music signals. Typically a 100W amplifier can draw 200W peak but hardly more than 25W average (1/8 ratio).

In practice, a 500VA toroid and gentle storage capacitance would already be more than enough (overkill in fact).

Also, due to thermal limitations, TDA7294 won't be able to provide 10A for too long before the internal protection kicks in.
