Default Power Resistor Question

Hi!

I was just screwing a Caddock MP925 10k resistor into the heatsink, and a little piece of the surrounding plastic on the inside ceramic side of the screw hole broke off. Will this affect performance of the resistor? It is just the slightest sliver of plastic, and it isn't broken all the way down to the ceramic part. I assume it has nothing to do with the actual function of the resistor, but just wanted to make sure

I'm working on my first DIY project and am a complete noob, so when something like this happens I get concerned that it could be potentially tragic to what I'm building

Thank in advance

-Alex
