My power amp has a noisy transformer I am told that a Mains filter might help.
I there an inexpensive simple to build option to buying one? Thanks David |

if your transformer is a toroid and if your noise (what kind of noise?) is really coming from the transformer, you might have dc saturating the toroid core. here is one thread you can read: dc filter
