Default Anyone have experience with SMPSpowersupplies.com

Hi,
Does anywone have experience with a company called SMPSpowersupplies.com from Mumbai, India? I ordered 2 prototypes for a 450V 250mA variable voltage supplies from them back in october. They were supposed to be delivered in November.
I have been receiving lots of promises about delivery from them. Even a fairy tale that their shipping company does not ship electronic equipment From India.
I guess I am dealing with a fraud as I doubt I willl see anything at all. So I was wondering if anyone has similar experiences with them.

FYI:

Pico Electronics and emco-hv sells some small high voltage adj. power supplies:

(both are in the US)
Pico Electronics
EMCO, High Voltage Power Supply Manufacturer

I believe Pico electronics can do custom designs to fit your need. I've purchases some of their miniture HV supplies to drive PhotoMultipler Tubes. No problems with their off-the-shelf designs, but I've never order a custom PS from them.

You can also send a private e-mail to Eva (on this forum). She does custom SMPS designs. I believe several forum members have done business with Eva and can vouch for her design work. Eva will probably give you the PCB gerber files, schematic and other work files if you need mass production, I am not sure Pico or Emco will do that for you.

Thanks for the info. Contacted Eva. We'll see. I doubt if I will ever see anything back from that company in India.

Well this is definitely a fraud company. They sent a junk board back which is dangerous and unsuited. It does not fit the agreed specs. I mailed them several times about the fact that no documentation was supplierd, 2 boards were ordered. No response since. So be aware.
