Questions about Vishay 60APU04 Ultra Fast Soft Recovery DIODE

Hi All

I need some help about the 60APU04 Ultra Fast Soft Recovery Diode.
I have the following questions:


1) This diode is rated 400V, 60A (TC = 127 °C). Does it need heatsink if used in a bridge for a class AB amp, about 150W output?

2) The data sheet says: "The softness of the recovery eliminates the need for a
snubber in most applications." Should I use or not an RC snubber?

3) Is this diode good for Audio?

This Diode is very robust, and excellent, also you dont need heatsink at 150W output, but it wont hurt using a small one

I dont think you need a snubber also, you can run without it.

3) Is this diode good for Audio?

This diode is more than good for audio applications, Class AB Amplifier rectifier.
