HV lab supply
I would like to build a High voltage lab supply (60-600V, 250mA) using mosfets as the series regulator.
A current limitor should also be present (so it doesnt explode if it ever gets shorted).

Designing such a device is one thing, but making it fool-proof is another.
That's why I ask here, does anybody have a schematic of a compareable supply ? (but tested, and approved)

I would initialy reccomend using an adjustable of the shelf convertor,

If you are going to build your own then you need to look at creepage and clearance for any PCB, exposed metal connectors etc.
