Default Xbox 360 PSU

Has anyone powered a car amp off an Xbox 360 PSU before? I cant get the 12v from the PSU and i know its still good..thanks..

High-power devices such as this that have a standby mode would have a power-enable pin somewhere to switch the main PSU off to save power when device is in standby. Like computer PSUs.

Connect the "Power Enable" pin (pin 7) to ground.

and i dnt understand what is wrong bc im am tieing in my PWR_ENB (Blue) to ground but im still not getting any voltagfe other than my stand by(RED 5V)...How exactly do i tie it ground. Series, Parallel or what..

Went to google it further, seems like there is an error in the document - pin 7 is supposed to be fed with -1.5V to 5V instead of being tied to ground to switch on the PSU.

ok so im getting the 12v now by coneccting the blue wire to the red wire when i go to hook the 12v and ground to the amp the PSU light turns red..not sure why..i think its because its drawin to much current. the ampifier is round 30amps i think...im not sure any help?

That is likely to be the case, some SMPS-es don't like seeing too much capacitance or the initial charge-up will trip the overcurrent protection. Try using all 3 wires? Or a soft-start.
