Default Possible to modify PS for Teac receiver from 110V to 220V?

Due to the high price of electronics in Europe (Poland to be specific) I would like to buy US version of TEAC AGH300-MARKIII receiver ($150 at J&R) to use in Europe. Of course the main problem is with voltage. So my question is: Is it possible and easy to change power supply from 110V to 220V so the receiver can be used overseas where voltage is 220V? If yes, what about frequency 50Hz vs 60Hz?

The reason for all that is, the same receiver costs $600 in Poland. That's 4x the US price. No way I am going to pay that much. I would also prefer to modify internals so I do not have an extra box, which I know I can buy, that converts the voltage.

My electronic skills are limited but I did put together two amplifiers using kits and help from this forum so I am not a total noob.

Thanks.

I don't know what is in it, is there smps inside, linear psu,.. maybe some switch,...
don't even know what consumption there will be
but maybe you should look into having external trafo, 110 to 220

so when you have it in Poland, you use trafo, 220 down to 110, and into receiver (which always works on 110)
