The Beresford TC-7510 is semi-notorius for having a bit of hiss (Stan Beresford even said so). It's not a bad little DAC for the money I paid but I'd like to decrease the hiss a bit. Some have blamed the cheap power supply. As this would be my first(ish) design and solder project, can someone point to a good reference for desigining power supplies? I'm a noob but I have some intuitive ability.
