Smps 220vac / 13.8vcc For 100a
Hi everybody!

I want to make a power supply for my car audio system. For this, I need a 1.400W supply with 220Vac in and 13.8Vdc out 100A.
If anyone help me, I apreciate.

Pulling 100 A current out of the converter requires much thinking! For example the transformer windings will be very huge - even that leads to a large core. From your pictures it looked like the windings would not fit to your core. Do the calculations!

what is the number of turns of the primary enrrolamento and the number of turns of the secondary enrrolamento, for this nucleus?

how must I proceed in the calculations?

Open up the amp and find out what internal rail voltages it uses. Then build a power supply that outputs those voltages directly.

hi Albert,how is your project?
As i m new in the block ,im thinking about beggin my project in half bridge using igbt +2110+3525 as initial form.Voltage controled regulated power supply.Im about using n27 toroid as main trafo and searching about output inductor,mainly because i will use high bank capacitance.
Have closed the regulation loop already?

You should avoid toroid SMPS transformers for offline applications. Proper insulation is hard to achieve and usually ends up degrading transformer performance well below the level of E cores.

Or you may do like that forum member that we know who sells a product where primary mains-live magnet wires touch directly with secondary wires.

A little scratch on the enamel and someone may end up injured or dead.

my SMPS is with 20A in 112vac, and 50A in 14.74VCC

A calibrated power meter is required for efficiency measurements like that. Better than 1% precision is required.

Input current is a complex waveform, the current reading from a conventional multimeter is useless.

a voltmeter TRUE RMS, is it sufficient to meter the efficiency of the SMPS?
