Due I have a lot of OA3, OA2, OB2, 85A2 etc etc I wish to realize a tube regulator 300volts for tube preamp.
I found online this, but it uses 1N5383 instead of a tube. Suggestion? Any other idea? |

You can replace a zener diode with a regulator tube of similar ratings, but there is an important thing to keep in mind: any parallel capacitor has to be removed, as it will cause instability of the tube.
In your case, there is such a capacitor across the zener. |
