were can i find how to configure sg3525 as a half brige

please i have an electronic degree but i am rusty now. :P:P:P. i have searched the net and forum and i could not find how to calculate the external components of the sg3525. i have seen many 3525 schematics but no calculations on them. please HELP

Isn't the datasheet enough?

The one from ST even contains partial schematics of what's inside the IC to help to understand it better

Making a test fixture on breadboard also helps. I used to do that back when I was a complete noob.

OK OK i saw it more specifically. but i don't understand the schematic attached. the circuit in red is a little confusing. i found this on the internet. please can you explain how that works.

To be honest that construction with VR3 & R10 doesnt make much sense to me .
As you can see in the test circuit from the ST datasheet you can do with 1 potentiometer (VR1) to set the duty cycle .
When i see the resistor value of R2 they setted a min. (or max) dutycycle .
The voltage needed on that pin is from 0,7 (0,9) Volt to 3,3 (3,6) volt .
Its a bit unusual design they made with Vref to power the outputstage .
Considering the forward voltage of D1 & D2 you have only about 4,4 Volt left for your gate .
I fully agree with Eva ,just build a test circuit like from the datasheet .
(i done that too just breadboard it or make a simple pcb for it)
