has anyone experience with this concept as described in
http://www.mitsubishichips.com/Japan...pdf/Paper5.pdf the idea of an AC inductor, and reduced losses as the PFC stage is integrated into the rectification bridge looks attractive to me .. |

A bit... ST has a app note for a bridgeless PFC on their web site.
The problem is the this is incredable noisy from an EMI standpoint. We eventually gave up trying to use the topology. I may try it again sometime but for now, Diodes are still too cheap. Tony |
