So it was a track broken naturally, or by some former incident? Plus a solder bridge. Was it a reworked board?

You see what HV can do now even with small overlooks. Strikes components like lightning, and people if not careful. Happy end though.

Yes HV is very dangerous & have to be managed with a lot of care.

Salas for sure I learned the lesson about HV, I'm looking the ceramic fuses 100mA 500V to order.

Salas can't get ceramic slow 100mA 500V at RS or Farnell, do you know where can get them?
