Nah, I preferred less exported acts at the time.

Default More listening impressions

So I have Salas HV running with aikido for few days and I have mixed feelings about it. With regulator it is somewhat clearer, bass is very tight, it has wider image but overall sound is dead, lifeless, it doesnt breathe. In fact I enjoy unregulated supply more, it seems to me more musical.
I am not saying Salas regulator is bad, my ears prefer unregulated sound.

How's the background noise and resolution when run unregulated? Do you hear the same detail in music?

Maybe there is just little less detail with unregulated, but it does sound more natural, breathes and is more 3D.
